a thought
I create photographs of wild, quiet places—scenes meant to be felt as much as seen. Each print is an invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the natural world.
I went in search of dappled sunlight and found fog instead. After a night of rain, Cadillac’s summit was empty and wind-swept, the Bay erased by drifting mist. Wandering off the path, I found granite and, unexpectedly, a quiet constellation of lichen, glowing with subtle color in the muted light. The best-laid plans in photography can fall apart. In my experience, planning matters, but improvising — especially when the weather shifts — often leads to the most satisfying results. And in the end, that's what I found on top of Cadillac that day.
