Resisting a Fog

I had awoken to a dense fog blanketing the island, and I knew I’d find mystery in plenty of places that morning. But would I find the right photo? I love fog. Its thickness can shift from minute to minute, making the photo you envisioned come alive or vanish just like that. My first stop offered everything I had hoped for. Alone near the headlands, I watched waves rise out of the haze and settle into something quiet and complete. Moments like this bind me deeper into Acadia"s fabric—I felt, once again, that I was home.
